Erik Vermeulen | Signify

Erik Vermeulen is a Senior Legal Counsel at Signify, the global leader in lighting, with over 25 years of expertise in reorganizations, corporate governance, sustainability, and cybersecurity. He served on the supervisory board of a Netherlands-based elderly care organization for eight years.
 
As a Professor of Business and Financial Law and Director of the International Business Law program at Tilburg University, Erik explores the intersection of technology, law, and business. His research, which often incorporates science fiction and storytelling, examines how systems like law, capitalism, and workplaces shape our lives. He shares his insights globally through his blog.
 
In addition to his academic and legal work, Erik advises international organizations and governments on business, technology, education, and law. His academic contributions are available on SSRN , and he frequently speaks at universities and conferences worldwide.
